Images have the same effect to me as the way music has. It can hit me without knowing what it was. I am a lousy musician but a great observer. It's what I do. Unveiling what is behind an image is what I find interesting. It takes both distance as closeness to do so. I love the challenges of commissioned assignments. It is a valuable counterpart of my personal work. In both I search for the same thing: People in their everyday behaviour. How we relate to each other, how we stand out, but mostly how we are alike.
As a photographer and director I master old and new techniques and a healthy interest in new developments within image and sound. I have a good command of Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final cut pro, Indesign, Capture one Pro, Illustrator and InDesign. Besides photography, I also make short documentary films with interviews. I hold the EU pilot licence as a drone pilot for photography and film, among other things. I am familiar with distributing and deploying film and photography on various media platforms. Furthermore, I have extensive experience with online image archives, I regularly write project proposals, treatments, corporate identity guidelines and grant applications. I have extensive experience in lecture, workshop and teaching. I am used to taking the lead, but enjoy working in groups or collaborating during projects. I publish photo books, exhibitions and publications in online and print media.

Ik wil nog even zeggen dat ik erg blij ben met de beelden. Ik vind dat je het concept echt tot leven hebt gebracht. Wat mij betreft echt wel de mooiste beelden (maar het is geen wedstrijd natuurlijk).
En in de nabewerking vind ik het indrukwekkend met hoeveel passie en precisie je te werk gaat. Respect!

De ANWB is super blij met de beelden. Ze zijn zo blij dat zij je tot de beste fotograaf hebben uitgeroepen en dat is ANWB breed.
Ze hadden niet eerder zulke mooie beelden gezien! Dat waren volgens mijn collega de woorden van de klant gisteren. Te leuk toch? dus dat moeten we natuurlijk even delen.
